Fall Must Haves & My Porch Transformation!
I know, I know, it’s still summer but my beautiful pistache tree is starting to turn brilliant yellow and orange which has inevitable inspired me to start decorating for fall. I got down all my apples, hay bales, door mats, pumpkins and felt like I needed a couple new fall items to change things up this year.
When I start planning my Fall Decor plan, I start with the front door & porch, the front stairs, then I do the entry way and the dining room table, kitchen island and then I fill in a little around the house. This year I am going to do Fallen Leaf Apple & Pumpkin Harvest. Staring at the porch, I am going to use harvest baskets and tons of apples and pumpkins, a pumpkin harvest mat and checkered black and white throughout the property. To bring in the theme of fallen leaf, I will add leaves around the door and in the entry way. The theme will require baskets of fall flowers, pumpkins and apples (think bountiful harvest).
Each year I check the Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Home Goods and Etsy for new fall decor and crafts. This year, I want to share the things I found and that I love for fall decor! Happy Fall Decorating!
Dress up an ordinary entry way with a fall inspired doormat, add a roll up mat underneath to give it a little extra pop like this black and white checkered mat ( currently available at the hobby lobby!)

Here is a sneak peak…
Here is the porch before~
First I get all my decor out and see what I have. This year I reused a lot of old stuff, and picked up a couple little things.
I really love this hobby lobby sign, I actually use year round, the other side says WELCOME In black and white. I layered some fun little fall foliage throughout.
I love this wreath, it has held up so well over the years and I love how large it is!
I used fall foliage picks and stuck them in the black Target lanterns, it looks great. I use hay bails every year, and leave the plastic on so you can re-use them!
Hope you enjoyed this little Fall inspiration!
