- Preheat oven to 425. Lay pre-made dough in a pie dish/tin, mold desired detailing and cover with foil. On top of foil, fill pie crust with sugar and bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Turn the oven down to 350. Let crust cool.
- Thinly slice and arrange the apples from darkest red to pink, yellow then green. When the crust has cooled, arrange the apple slices in a brick layer pattern around the pie crust.
- In a sauce pan heat up 1 stick of butter until boiling, then add flour, both sugars and water. Stir until thick. Drizzle over pie and smooth over with a spoon. Paint egg wash on the pie crust edges.
- Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over the pie. Cover the pie crust edges with foil and bake for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve immediately or cool! Add a scoop of French vanilla ice cream!
