Butternut Squash with Bacon & Maple Syrup

Butternut Squash Soup

- In a large pot, bring 3 cups of water to a boil, add in the squash and cook until soft. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the butter and cook the onions until translucent. Add herbs and return the squash to the pot.
- Add chicken stock and bring to a simmer. Once everything has have a little time to cook together, remove from the heat and pour into a mixer (make sure it can handle heat).
- Mix thoroughly and return to the pot. Add heavy cream and maple syrup and let it come to a simmer.
- To serve, add bacon and sour cream to the top! Enjoy!
