Back to School Apple Harvest Table
Back to school fall apple table
Each year I try to slowly transition our home from summer to fall decor around August 1st, ok, on August 1st!! It drives my husband crazy, as a lover of summer, to have it cut short. This year I did a "Back-to-School" apple harvest table that was the perfect mix of fall and summer sweetness. The day before school starts I will most likely add a couple cute things around the door and a back to school wreath. Here are the things I used to decorate our back to school entry way.
Letter board - I use the letterbaord for everything from birthdays to holidays. For back to school I did a fun uplifting quote - I also use Dr. Seuss quotes, they are my favorite. At Target they sell these cute farmhouse letters as well. I added a mason jar of pencils because I love the way they smell and sharpened pencils always remind me of school.
After looking through a ton of different faux apples, I found these on Amazon. I purchased Green and Red and they both look great - the granny smith green really pop and can be used in a bowl all year. I found these bushel baskets at Michaels and thought they would be perfect for this settings. They also had super cute walnut berry containers I grabbed. Throw a couple rulers on there to add a back to school feel.
For Fall floral I picked a couple fun filler leaves like Maple and aspen. When you go to michaels, just grab whatever speaks to you!
Wheat Filler (Not pictured but added later)
Add a fun back to school wreath to your front door or entry way. This one is from etsy, but also super easy to make.
Hope y'all enjoyed this little fun post about making the your home look festive for back to school!
